MSC Cruises: the full fleet, from the Yacht Club to the World class ships

Start with good news, because it is rare. On almost every fleet we carry, our list and the line's do not say the same thing: chartered ships, ships that have left, programmes we do not hold. Not here. The line presents its full fleet, we carry it in full, and not one is without a departure on our calendar. What you see on this page is the whole fleet.

What we carry, measured

It is the largest fleet on this site, and the widest spread of routes in our whole catalogue. The number of cruises currently on offer appears at the top of this page.

Where MSC Cruises comes from

MSC Cruises belongs to the MSC Group, of Geneva, owned by the Aponte family. The cruise business began in 1988 with the purchase of the liner Monterey, long after the group's original trade, which is moving freight. You can still see it in how the fleet is deployed: many ships, many basins, tight rotations.

The busiest ship, and the trap in its name

MSC World Asia is the most heavily programmed ship on our calendar, ahead of MSC World Europa. Mind the name: World Asia enters service in December 2026 and spends both winter and summer in the Western Mediterranean, out of Barcelona. World class ships carry continent names to say how far the network reaches, not where they are deployed. She runs on liquefied natural gas and plugs into shore power where the port allows it.

Two things that change life aboard

The MSC Yacht Club is a ship within the ship: a reserved quarter, key-card access, a butler, spaces closed to the rest of the ship. You can sail with two thousand five hundred people and mix with only a small part of them — it is MSC's answer for people the crowd puts off. Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, in the Bahamas, is its private island, opened in 2019 on a former industrial sand-dredging site. Like any private island, it is a beach day run by the line, not the discovery of a country.

What we will not say

What the fare covers. At MSC the formula changes from one departure, market and cabin grade to the next, and we have not measured it departure by departure. Ask your advisor for the written list of the exact departure before booking. Two other ships we carry heavily, MSC Fantasia and MSC Seaview, carry formulas that are not World Asia's.

Frequently Asked Questions

MSC runs one of the largest fleets in the world, and we carry it in full: every ship in the line appears on our calendar. The number of cruises currently on offer is shown at the top of this page.
MSC World Asia, ahead of MSC World Europa. These are Western Mediterranean weeks out of Barcelona, repeated from one end of the calendar to the other.
No, and the name misleads a great many people. It enters service in December 2026 and spends both winter and summer in the Western Mediterranean, out of Barcelona. World class ships carry continent names to say how far the network reaches, not where they are deployed.
A ship within the ship: a reserved quarter, key-card access, a butler, spaces the rest of the ship does not enter. In practice you can sail with two thousand five hundred people and mix with only a small part of them. It is MSC's answer for people the crowd puts off.
The line's private island in the Bahamas, opened in 2019 on a former industrial sand-dredging site. Many Caribbean itineraries call there. Like any private island, it is a beach day run by the line, not the discovery of a country.
We will not say it in the line's place. What the fare covers changes here from one departure, market and cabin grade to the next, and we have not measured it departure by departure. Ask your advisor for the written list of the exact departure before booking, not after.
Often, yes. Your advisor can look beyond what appears here. The online catalogue is a way in, not the limit of what exists.
It depends on the departure and the market, not on the line. If French matters to you, say so before booking: it is checked departure by departure.
On fleets this size the cabin goes before the voyage does: the sought-after grades empty first, and what is left may sit somewhere you would not have chosen. Talk cancellation terms through with your advisor before you decide.
Because the ship carries no departure on our calendar. The page stays online because the ship existed and you are looking for it; it then says what became of her, when we know.
Your agency, and it alone. Voyages AquaTerra operates under a licence from Quebec's Office de la protection du consommateur, your payments pass through a trust account, and the compensation fund for travel agency clients covers your departure. That holds whichever line you choose.
