Who are Disney Value resorts right for?

Value resorts suit families who spend their days in the parks and want to sleep on site without paying Deluxe prices. Rooms are simple and colourful, pools are lively, dining is quick-service. The real advantage is elsewhere: staying on site gives you free transportation to the parks and the 30-minute early theme park entry each morning, the one that turns a 45-minute line into a stroll.

What to know before you book

The honest picture: buses are shared between resorts and sometimes make a few stops, most Value resorts have no table-service restaurant, and standard rooms sleep four at most. Two exceptions are worth a look for families: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort offers family suites for six, and Disney’s Pop Century Resort connects to the Skyliner, the gondola that reaches EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios without a bus.
