Three weeks by the Mediterranean, while Quebec is still shivering or starting to darken. The Costa del Sol stretches over 150 kilometres of beaches, bays and cliffs in southern Andalusia, and the sun shines there more than 300 days a year.
The group settles in Torremolinos, gateway to the coast, for 21 nights at the seafront Sol Puerto Marina. The town is modern but has kept its Andalusian habits: the late-afternoon stroll along the water, terraces that fill up late, seven kilometres of beach within walking distance. In March as in October, temperatures hover around 19 °C.
The days are yours. Your tour escort offers optional excursions for those who want to see further, including Málaga, Picasso's hometown, with its monuments and museums. Others will choose to plan nothing at all, and that is perfectly fine.
